Follow-up sulla querelle del momento: un articolo del N.Y Times – a mio avviso – esempio perfetto della sindrome che ha colpito buona parte dei commentatori; un fascino, quello di “Davide contro Golia”, che troppo spesso oscura qualunque argomento (in maniera piuttosto bizzarra, anche quelli riportati nel articolo, i quali sembrano contare talmente poco nell’economia della disputa da diventare quasi altri “capi d’imputazione” per Apple).

Sempre dalla medesima recensione (non) citata (per salvaguardare il buon nome dell’autore) nel precedente post, altri imperdibili vantaggi offerti da Hey: • Smart email sorting: Once accepted, emails go into one of three places: the “Imbox” (not a typo; this is where important and immediate messages go), the “Feed” (where all those newsletters you’re subscribed to will live until you’re ready to read them), and the “Paper Trail” (for transactions, receipts, order confirmations, etc). All of this is customizable by you (Gmail o qualunque altra app supporti le regole per le email, ovvero quasi tutte? P.S. Ulteriore dettaglio, casomai fosse sfuggito, che contribuisce a rendere poco credibile (Vincitore del premio “Eufemismo dell’Anno 2020” per distacco) la narrazione degli “alfieri indie contro la multinazionale cattiva e avida”: dietro Hey.com c’è Basecamp. Questo. Quanto ai termini d’uso dello Store mi pare difficile credere fossero loro ignoti...viste le cinque app da loro pubblicate presenti sullo Store medesimo.
