Update, 11/28/2025

Hello everyone, It has, yet again, been a while since we posted something here. Not quite as much of a white. granted, as it's been in the past, but all the same, we are sorry for said gap in posting.

What have we been doing?

Basically, it boils down to ... resting on account of lots of chronic pain, being sick, and cleaning little bits of the house when or if we have the energy. We also did a youtube livestream, though that was at a ridiculous time at night, so we didn't get any views, which was rather sad. We'll have to try and do another one here in the next couple days, and/or upload some of our old recordings that we recorded back in September, restart the upload schedule.

We are sorry that we didn't maintain the guaranteed 1 post a week that we thought we could. As explained above, chronic pain and the changing seasons hit really hard this month, and we haven't been as on top of ... much of anything ... as we'd like to be. Part of that is pain related, and part of that, we must be honest, is money related.

Note: This section is not here as an attempt to make anyone feel obligated. If you are able to help and wish to, please feel free to visit the links linked in the signature and do so. If you can't help, please try not to feel guilty or in any way obligated. We understand that everyone has their own situations, and their own needs, and may not always, or even usually, be able to assist, and we thank all of you in advance for reading this post and the below section at all. The past couple of weeks have been difficult for us financially. We've barely been able to buy groceries, and that only because we have EBT money and use it very sparingly. It turns out if you're careful feeding two people is a lot less annoying than feeding 3. But things that aren't covered by EBT are harder. Cleaning supplies, for instance, are difficult to buy. Medicines, especially those not covered by insurance, are particularly difficult to buy. And bills, particularly those from the more technology-based companies, like to just take money from your account on the due dates, without sending you any kind of warning. Which is what happened to us. We are currently negative $160 due to some bills that were paid automatically. Again, if you can't help, please don't feel guilty, reading our posts and engaging with us on mastodon is incredibly helpful as it is. However, if you are able and desire to help, the pay links are in the signature at the bottom of the post, please definitely feel free to do so.

A bit of a Ramble

If you got past that section and are still here, reading this post, thank you very much again. We really hate having to write about our money things in our blog, having to talk about needing mutual aid help, or what some would call e-begging. It doesn't make us feel good inside. We've been trying to apply for jobs that we can realistically do for about 2 years now, and get no responses. We don't know if it's something we're doing wrong or just that those companies found other applicants who fit the job better. It could also be that we don't have a high school diploma ... which we could fix if we had money ... kinda a circle of increasing poverty there. Can't get a job without a diploma. Can't get a high school equivalency without money, which you can't get easily without a job, which ... oh wait. you can't get without a diploma. Of course, if I'd stayed in high school in the first place I'd have one of those ... but I didn't. I had a good reason, I still believe that. My mother was being a bitch and I couldn't make it stop. I got overwhelmed, and I had to leave. But ... that's a story for another time.

YouTube Updates

We discussed this a bit earlier, but we're trying to remain consistent with some of the format from our previous posts, so there's now a heading here for YouTube updates. We did a livestream, as mentioned above, it lasted about an hour and 20 minutes. You can see out page of livestreams at the link below. click here to see our livestreams When we're actively streaming, that link will take you to the currently live stream. When we're not, it'll take you to a page showing our live tab, where all the previously streamed videos live. Unlike twitch, they don't get taken down after 14 days. They sit on your channel, so people can watch them. It's quite useful. I hope you enjoy them just as much as we enjoyed making them.

Life Goals

As mentioned in our last post, we're trying to get more consistent, and so we've kept up the life goals section from the last post. 1. We're still working on getting the money together to go to the SSA for Z's stuff. Again, don't know how much of that z wants shared, but that's still happening. 2. More importantly, and of higher priority, we're trying to fix our negative account balance. That goal is currently $160, though if we can't get that fixed we'll end up with insufficient funds fees and I'll have to up it based on those.

Non-Financial Goals

Keeping with the format of the last post, we're now moving on to the non-financial goals section. One day I'm hoping we can take out the financial goals section altogether. 1. I'm still hoping to get more posts put up on the blog so you guys have more content to read. 2. I am also hoping to get back into the recording schedule for the YouTube, along with livestreaming. If Z is interested, we'll do some combination streams.

Closing

This post is a bit longer than all the other ones, but all the same, we hope you have enjoyed it. We tried to separate things out by heading as much as possible, and where possible, put things into lists. Hopefully the markdown thing worked, and the lists came out the way I wanted them to. Hope you enjoyed, and we'll be back when we're able. If you want to visit any of our links, as always, they're in the signature. Thank you for reading.

This is a new section that we've decided to put in as of 11/08/2025. Here, we've listed all our other links of interest, which you may find neat to visit. Visit Our Youtube Here Visit our LinkTree here The linktree has many interesting things on it, and also links back to this blog. Visit our shopping page here What is this? This is an aggregated page of all the Amazon products we enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. We use the name Life Upgraded (now Cadence's Finds) on there because we feel the products we've bought and recommend on this page have upgraded our life significantly. This next part is something we have to put near any page recommending product links for legal reasons. We are not pushing our links on anybody, but they're there if you want to see them. Note: I am an Amazon Affiliate. If you choose to buy any of the products listed on any of the pages above, I may make a commission from such purchases. We may add more links to this signature later, if we find more that you may be interested in. Always feel free to visit the YouTube, the Linktree, or the Ko-Fi, listed above, for any other updates that aren't posted here. As always, thank you for reading, and we hope you enjoyed or were otherwise enlightened by this post.
