Goals of the Month
Hello everyone, As promised, in today's post, we'll be talking about some goals that we want to try to meet this month. We're not good with number goals, so we'll try and avoid those, but we do want to make some changes for the better. But first, a question some are probably asking.
Why are we discussing goals?
There is a simple answer to this question. Goals, when used and executed correctly and carefully, can assist people in receiving their life wishes and living their dreams, or at the very least, something close. Our hope in this post is that by discussing goals, and listing ours here will do a few things. 1. Provide accountability. If we list our goals, our hope is that we may feel more motivated to complete them as time goes on. It doesn't seem to work with short form content, but perhaps the more work put in, the more gain will be had. 2. Help us in remembering. While we could put these in a journal, we often remember things that we know are out in public for anyone to see. We also remember things more often when we think people may engage. 3. Help others to create their own goal sets. In doing this and writing it out this way, we hope that maybe some others, even if we don't know them, will be assisted by this. We hope that in some way our sets of goals will help others to see the way goals could be able to help them if they feel able to execute goals. Now, onto the goals. We'll try to put these in lists for easy navigation.
Basic Goals
- Attempt to write a post whenever the urge strikes.
Attempt to write at least one update post per week.
Fediverse goals
Try to post something that isn't a boost or reply at least once a day.
Try to engage with someone new every week.
Goal related goals
Try and meet a goal per week, or keep up on a goal when energy is available.
Try to write out more goals when the old ones have been met. There are probably many others our distractable brain is forgetting right now. Perhaps we will do another one of these later. Since we started and finished most of the work for this last night, we didn't use as much energy for this today, meaning we may have more to spare for another post.
Plans for the Future
This is a new section we'll likely be including in each of our posts from now on, discussing what's up and coming in the next couple posts. As discussed, we'll be doing a post about our favorite television shows tomorrow, where we'll go in depth and, assuming our brain has the energy for links, we'll link to as many of them as we can. After that, we will likely do a post discussing some of our favorite books. We originally were going to do this with bookworm, the fedi equivalent for goodreads, but we find that slightly intimidating so we'll just post our content here. And since it came up, we will likely do a post on why bookworm, goodreads, and some of those other platforms are intimidating to us. That post may also have links both to the platforms themselves, in case people are interested, and also to resources about some of our older posts from some of those more intimidating platforms.

Other Links of Interest
This is a new section that we've decided to put in as of 11/08/2025. Here, we've listed all our other links of interest, which you may find neat to visit. Visit Our Youtube Here Visit our LinkTree here The linktree has many interesting things on it, and also links back to this blog. Visit our shopping page here What is this? This is an aggregated page of all the Amazon products we enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. We use the name Life Upgraded (now Cadence's Finds) on there because we feel the products we've bought and recommend on this page have upgraded our life significantly. This next part is something we have to put near any page recommending product links for legal reasons. We are not pushing our links on anybody, but they're there if you want to see them. Note: I am an Amazon Affiliate. If you choose to buy any of the products listed on any of the pages above, I may make a commission from such purchases. We may add more links to this signature later, if we find more that you may be interested in. Always feel free to visit the YouTube, the Linktree, or the Ko-Fi, listed above, for any other updates that aren't posted here. As always, thank you for reading, and we hope you enjoyed or were otherwise enlightened by this post.
