guerrilla information warfare

In the course of the events around the ‘Day of Honour’ in Budapest in 2023, antifascists were subjected to massive repression. Since then, law enforcement agencies have been publicly searching for activists. The German and Hungarian police use narratives from right-wing conservative and fascist media and construct criminal associations. You can find out more on the website of the solidarity groups: https://www.basc.news https://budapest-solidarity.net/

Meanwhile, fascists from all over Europe continue to use Hungary as a safe haven and a place to network. Here are three highlights from last year:

In May 2023, numerous (extreme) right-wing groups met in Budapest as part of the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) conference. The event was organized by the US association of the same name, which is close to Donald Trump, and the Fidesz-affiliated ‘Alapjogokért Központ’ (‘Center for Fundamental Rights’). The conference is a melting pot of right-wing conservative to openly fascist individuals, associations and parties.

Just two days later, the ‘European Fight Night’ took place in Csókakö, 80 kilometers from Budapest. The martial arts event attracted neo-Nazis from all over Europe (source: https://exif-recherche.org/?p=10966). This was made possible in part by the mayor of the village, who himself belongs to the Fidesz party.

Later in the year, the association ‘Homeland and Tourism’, which organizes the official walk along the escape route of German Nazis and Hungarian fascists on the ‘Day of Honour’, received state funding. In the process, 70 million forints – the equivalent of over 180,000 euros – flowed from the state coffers into the pockets of the organizers (source: http://merce.hu/). The fact that Fidesz supports neo-fascist events or organizations that organize such events is nothing new. The continuity of these openly right-wing connections to the government is neither denounced nor even named in Hungary or other EU states.

Despite the immense repression and other adversities of the past, such as the pandemic, we as a campaign, together with our comrades from Budapest, can record significant successes: In 2023, the greater mobilization for the counter-protest meant that for the first time since the Nazi-glorifying event took place, the Blood & Honour commemoration had to be moved to the outskirts of the city, making it impossible for the neo-Nazis who had come from all over Europe to hold a fascist heroes commemoration in Varosmayor Park or at the Budapest Castle.

The Budapest comrades want to continue the successful mobilizations of previous years in February 2024. Despite the serious criminalization of anti-fascist protests in Germany and Hungary, we find it all the more important to be there now and to show our presence at the counter-demonstration to the ‘Day of Honour’. Budapest and Hungary have not been an easy place for leftist, anti-fascist protests in the past and will probably be even less so in the near future. Nevertheless, we do not want to be intimidated by the wave of repression and do not want to leave the active antifascists in Hungary alone! We therefore call on you to travel with us to Budapest again this year.

  • On New Year's Eve we attacked two ENI PLENITUDE offices in Rome, one in Viale Somalia and one in Via Togliatti.

The action was carried out by placing three incendiary devices (consisting of firecrackers and gas canisters) between the windows and shutters of the offices.

We hit Eni for its responsibility in the exploitation and pollution of the Earth and the militarisation of so-called developing countries.

Wars are inherent to capitalism, thanks to which capital expands, creating new markets and resources to plunder.

  • here is another excerpt of an article from Mondoweiss by Shatha Hanaysha, a Palestinian journalist based in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Resistance fighters emerged from the alleyways*, dressed in dirty clothes, visibly weary-eyed despite the black masks covering their faces, still sporting their weapons and remaining on alert.

The fighters surveyed the destruction of the camp and started combing nearby shops and homes, anticipating the presence of Israeli forces remaining behind for a potential ambush, especially in abandoned areas — one fighter said that the army had done so previously in Jenin refugee camp.

“After a 12-hour invasion and the entrance of a large military force, they couldn’t do anything but vent their anger on a few homes, rocks, and trees,” a 19-year-old resistance fighter, reflecting on the situation, told me. “When they are unable, they resort to airstrikes, but we have become more aware of how to avoid them.”

Tulkarem has become a battleground in recent months as the Israeli army has taken advantage of the war on Gaza to try to eradicate the armed resistance in the West Bank. The brunt of Israel’s recent West Bank offensive has been borne by Jenin refugee camp, especially during its three-day raid last month, turning the camp into “little Gaza.” In those raids, the army was aiming to assassinate or arrest the resistance fighters in the Jenin Brigade, one of the most prominent armed groups that also functions as an umbrella organization encompassing fighters with differing factional alleigances.

Now, the Israeli army has turned its attention to Tulkarem, specifically Nour Shams refugee camp. The main target of its renewed campaign is the Tulkarem Brigade.

What sets apart the Tulkarem Brigade, according to Nour Shams residents, is what they call its “ferocity.” Resistance fighters from the group have engaged in what many consider the most intense armed confrontations in the West Bank, involving the exchange of live ammunition and the targeting of Israeli military vehicles with locally made explosives.

The Brigade frequently posts videos on its Telegram channel, highlighting the losses incurred by the Israeli army during its raids. What caught my attention during the most recent raid was that the Brigade continued to update the channel and report on the group’s operations against Israeli soldiers throughout the 36-hour raid. After the military operation concluded, the Brigade issued a statement addressed to the camp’s residents:

“Your soldiers, the Brigade’s troops, have been a thorn in the side of the Israeli army by preparing ambushes, explosive devices, and remotely detonating booby-trapped cars, resulting in casualties among their forces in several axes. We say to the enemy, who conceals what happened in the camp’s axes: your defeat and humiliation will be revealed on the camp’s soil, and tomorrow will witness a close reckoning.”

These military invasions of Nour Shams have become routine ever since October 7.

“Every day, there is an incursion,” the young resistance fighter told Mondoweiss. “However, this will not affect us or weaken our resolve. Since our childhood, we have been living under occupation, not seeing our country.”

The majority of the resistance fighters are in their late teens and twenties, meaning most of them were born during or shortly after the Second Intifada. None of them have a memory of living in a landscape not marred by checkpoints and Israeli military presence.

“Living in the camp feels like being in a prison. Before joining the resistance, I lived like any other young person — working, returning home, and spending time with friends,” the resistance fighter continued. “But what changed me and made me think about resistance was when I went outside Tulkarem. There are many checkpoints, and at the checkpoint, there is searching, humiliation, beating, and verbal abuse. The occupation forced us into this path. When we carry our weapons, we feel victorious and stop feeling humiliated. Instead, we feel pride. Every time they enter the camp, we make them leave humiliated, and that’s when we feel dignity.”

When I asked him about his dreams for the future, his answer reflected the reality imposed on him by the occupation.

“My dream is victory or following in the footsteps of my friends,” he said. “Four of my friends were martyred recently. One of my friends was killed right in front of me, and he wasn’t even a fighter — he was a civilian. God willing, we will avenge our martyrs. Their blood is not cheap.”

Another resistance member I met spoke solemnly of the fighters’ commitment to resisting even though they knew that they would die.

“The occupation will not affect us with its repeated invasions, and it will not weaken the resistance,” the fighter said with clarity. “This is a pressure tactic; the occupation itself is under pressure, and, of course, they will [keep invading] and more. They will repeat it, once, twice, and ten times, but it will not affect us.”

“We resist because this is our land, our dignity, and our honor — and for our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and the ’48 lands,” he continued. “It is imposed on us to resist…I expect that I will be martyred — today, tonight, tomorrow, at any moment. But the resistance will continue. One resistance fighter will be succeeded by another. Resistance will not end as one generation passes it to the next, and we will pass it to the generation after us.”

He was standing with his companion on the remains of an Israeli military bulldozer in the courtyard of the Nour Shams camp. The bulldozer is a testament to the fighters’ newest innovations in defending their home against the perpetually invading military force, employing IEDs to ambush Israeli soldiers and vehicles, insisting on exacting a heavy price for each Israeli onslaught.

We stand in the middle of an alleyway in the Al-Manshiyah neighborhood in Nour Shams, commonly dubbed by camp residents as the Israeli army’s “alley of horror.” The sky is concealed by plastic tarpaulin set up by the resistance fighters to prevent Israeli reconnaissance aircraft from observing, monitoring, and targeting them.

I met a 19-year-old resistance fighter following the December 31 invasion. His brother was a fighter who was killed by an Israeli airstrike during an armed confrontation.

He informs me that he left university, where he was studying dental technology, to join the resistance. He described his joy upon acquiring a weapon for resisting the occupation, likening it to the feeling of a father holding his first child.

He tells me about his martyred brother. “My relationship with my brother was more than just brotherhood,” he said. “He was my friend. He was a friend to my father, my mother, everyone. His death is what made me go down this path. It was his will — he was the one who urged me to continue the resistance.”

“I was with my brother when he was killed,” he explained. “A few others and I transported him. Initially, he had a pulse and was breathing lightly, but he was not conscious, unlike his friend, who was talking to us. But they both died afterward.”

Like all his fellow resistance fighters, he told me he dreams of liberating his homeland, that this gives him the drive to move forward.

“I am a refugee, and my dream is to return to the homeland from which we were displaced,” he elaborated. “My dream, like the dream of every free and honorable person, is to liberate Palestine from occupation. I wish I could live for just one day without occupation.”

After speaking to him, I visited his family home and met his father, who, decades ago, was also a resistance fighter in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the military wing of Fatah. He had been imprisoned for several years in Israeli jails.

“I was a resistance fighter in the First and Second Intifadas, and today my son is a resistance fighter,” he told me. “And my [other] son is a martyr and a resistance fighter as well. My children grew up to continue our mission.”

“In Palestine, we inherit resistance and the rifle, from one generation to the next,” he continued. “It’s become an instinct for those living under occupation. Resistance is present in our hearts and in our consciousness. This is what I taught my children.”

“I consider all these young people as my sons,” he added, referring to the fighters in the camp.

    * Located in the eastern part of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, nour shams translates as “the light of the sun.” Perhaps the camp gets this name because the sunrise makes its first appearance in the camp’s alleyways before it floods the rest of the world.

Nour Shams is also home to the Tulkarem Brigade [NdE: i edited this link in], an umbrella organization composed of resistance fighters with differing political affiliations, including the armed wings of Fatah, Hamas, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

  • At the end of October 2023, in the quietest hours of the night, a small group quickly secured a blockade to the CN rail lines in “bc”, near the Hope area.

The blockade consisted of a 100-pound iron work table vice – whose jaws were tightened directly to the rail – topped with a several hundred pound pile of chain and scrap metal.

On one side of the gigantic work-table vice was painted “FREE GAZA” in red. On the other side was painted “CGL OFF THE YINTAH”. The blockade was secured to a curving stretch of rail in the forest, near no residences. CN freight trains churn through this area multiple times per hour. The blockade was fixed immediately after a train passed, to give the most time for safe work.

Only two rail lines carry the entire freight system in so-called “bc” – CN, and CP. Their routes overlap in a large area in Secwepemc territory, between hope and kamloops. referred to by officials as a ‘choke point’ for the government’s freight system – its resource extraction supply lines. If both of these lines are disrupted or shut down simultaneously, the whole rail freight system in the ‘province’ shuts down. Let us get to work.

Please dump stuff on the rails. The more trash, broken glass, and scrap litters the rails, the more gummed up the works will get.

While we are taking the steps to send this anonymous communique – we wish to encourage tactics beyond boycotts. It is great to stop giving genocidal companies our money. Now it is time to take another step, and start taking money from these companies. The recent mass food reclamation at a Whole Foods in occupied Lenapehoking, so-called New York, is a great example.

You’ve stopped going to starbucks – now start going back to starbucks to steal and destroy their merchandise. Disrupt their profits in increasingly direct ways. Taping the edge of a small razor blade to a credit card can make the tool inconspicuous, and small hidden razors are great for cutting open coffee bags, tearing up products, while appearing to simply handle and peruse the wares.

Containers of used cooking oil are great to pour on books / paper products in stores that support genocide. Oil up your local Indigo for example – target the most expensive wares possible. Carry the oil around in a fancy looking reusable water bottle or coffee cup, or in tiny vials that fit in the palm of your hand.

Stop throwing out old food scraps, especially meat – make stink bombs instead. Put the food in firmly sealed containers and let them rot in heat. When ready, subtly dump the contents indoors in businesses you want to disrupt.

get together, get creative, and get out there

  • In recent weeks, the detainees have shown great resilience and solidarity. After a widespread revolt on December 23 in the three buildings of the Vincennes Administrative Detention Center [(CRA), internment camp for refugees], 11 people managed to break free on Christmas morning.

We just couldn't wait to see the look on the Vincennes CRA chief's face when, on the morning of December 25, as he was quietly unpacking his new truncheon, his henchmen called to tell him that 11 detainees had just run off.

11 detainees from CRA 2B managed to escape by breaking through the window of one of their cells, then cutting a hole in the fence. In particular, they took advantage of the fact that the surveillance cameras were not working at this location. Well done to them!

The news quickly spread throughout the buildings (the CRA of Vincennes comprises three buildings holding over 230 people in all). “Everyone's so happy to know that some of them have managed to escape, it's such a pleasure, it gives us hope,” explains one detainee.

The day before, on Saturday evening, CRA 2A and 2B were revolting at the same time. Detainees broke windows in an attempt to escape, after setting off fire alarms, setting fire to mattresses and disrupting the power supply in one of the buildings.

Meanwhile, at CRA 1, the detainees were protesting and shouting for their freedom. “As it was a mess in the 3 buildings, the cops couldn't take it anymore”, explains a detainee. “When the whole building gets together, the cops are lost.” So when the 3 CRAs decide to make a mess of things at the same time...

Faced with this widespread revolt, the cops intervened on a massive scale. In addition to tear gas and baton rounds, they brought in dogs. Many detainees were jumped on and scratched by the dogs, before being herded into the courtyards while the cells were searched. This went on well into the night, but the escape attempt failed.

It was only a postponement. The next day, the detentions in the various buildings spread the word: it's Christmas, there are fewer cops, now's the time!

And so, on the morning of December 25, the 11 people were able to escape. The story could have been even better, because a few hours earlier, in CRA 1, a small team was also trying to escape. But they were caught – after passing through the CRA enclosure nonetheless!

Since then, of course, there has been a major crackdown, with plenty of cops everywhere. On December 26, Police Prefect Nunez announced “human reinforcements, particularly on the outskirts of the site”, and the installation of new fences and cameras.

“The cops are so pissed. They haven't got a clue. They're failing,” laughs a detainee. “But now we have to be careful, because they're playing cowboys. As soon as you talk back to them, you go into solitary confinement and get beaten up. They've also let the dogs out downstairs, cut off the lights outside and brought in a new team to back them up, intervention style. But we don't care, we're on the lookout.”

Prior to this escape, there had been numerous attempts, including a successful one in mid-November (8 people escaped). The detainees also recently helped one of their own to go into hiding to avoid seeing the consul and thus delay his deportation. A few days ago, they wrote texts together to denounce detention and its conditions.

    Stay the course!

  • Inspired by a series of actions and sabotages against “the world of concrete” in France, Belgium and Switzerland, we visited the CEMEX concrete plant on Schleusenufer in Berlin-Kreuzberg in the early hours of December 27 and used fire to stop several concrete mixer trucks and bring the conveyor belt and a technical building to a standstill.

A champion among the climate destroyers

The wasteland of concrete and asphalt continues to spread. In Germany alone, up to 30 hectares of living soil are buried under the most sought-after building material every day. Roads, squares, commercial areas, industrial plants and houses; huge parts of the earth's surface are already sealed and infrastructure projects such as dams, freeways, bridges, airports etc. consume several billion tons of concrete every year.

All this is not without consequences. Concrete is considered the climate killer par excellence. Almost 10 percent of the carbon dioxide that this system currently blows into the air comes from the cement industry. That is almost three times as much as air traffic. At the same time, concrete production consumes enormous amounts of resources. Sand in particular, which is essential for production, is already in short supply, which is why coastal areas and sometimes entire islands are being dredged up around the world. With devastating effects on the surrounding ecosystems. The increasing sealing of soils also has catastrophic consequences. Urban areas are heating up more and more, while rainwater can no longer seep into the ground. Groundwater reservoirs are not filling up as before, which will lead to water shortages in many places in the long term or has already done so. Drought and aridity are the result of this on the one hand, while flooding and erosion are occurring elsewhere due to increasingly frequent heavy rainfall. More than that, every additional meter of concrete destroys habitats and food sources. The loss of natural ground areas and the lack of vegetation lead to a decline in biodiversity, which has an impact on many animal and plant populations and will result in the extinction of individual species.

    Too bad concrete doesn't burn

Concrete has become the symbol of an entire era. An era in which capitalism celebrates its expansion to the furthest corners of the earth and has cast this victory in concrete in the form of monumental buildings in the centers of power of the metropolises. The monster called “civilization” has eaten its way around the globe via a growing network of roads that paved the way for the exploitation and utilization of people and nature on an industrial scale.

However, there has always been resistance to it. In the Global South, where the effects of climate change have so far been felt most clearly and Western domination is being perpetuated through the exploitation of resources and labor, there are countless hotbeds of conflict. Revolts unleashed by existential threats, in which people oppose destruction with every conceivable means. Ironically, the causes of such conflicts often lie in the development of new markets for so-called “green technologies” and the hunger for raw materials that goes hand in hand with them. When we target those responsible for this misery, we do so alongside all those who have no choice. Because for many, the only alternative to resistance is flight or death.

It therefore seems almost cynical when parts of the climate movement in this country are characterized above all by making well-meaning pleas to the politicians who got us into this whole mess in the first place and show no interest in giving up their privileges and prosperity. These activists are falling into the trap of trying to please bourgeois moral standards with their mendacious commitment to renouncing violence. This was not always the case. During the anti-nuclear movement, for example, hundreds of electricity pylons were sawn down across Germany and Castor transports could not be carried out without massive sabotage of rail infrastructure. Protests against the Runway West in Frankfurt am Main or against the Wackersdorf reprocessing plant were accompanied by regular riots in which thousands of people took part. So why are these disputes so conformist and conformist now, when it is more necessary than ever? If we want to stop the destruction of the earth by the industrial machine in the long term, there will be no way around confronting this society, which emerged from merciless exploitation and has succumbed to the blind belief in progress. Too bad concrete doesn't burn.

The dirty business of gray gold

With the attack on the CEMEX company, we have hit one of the largest concrete manufacturers in the world. CEMEX Deutschland AG is part of the parent company CEMEX S.A.B. de C.V., based in Mexico, and has 64 cement plants, 1,348 ready-mixed concrete plants, 246 quarries, 269 distribution centers and 68 ship terminals worldwide. The company is involved in infrastructure and major construction projects in over 50 countries. This includes the controversial expansion of Berlin's A100 city highway. A 560 million euro grave that the government has thrown in our faces. With the production and delivery of around 170,000 m³ of concrete, CEMEX is one of the major beneficiaries of this monster, which is now cutting a swathe through the middle of the city and will soon spit out a noisy avalanche of traffic near Treptower Park.

In addition to the usual environmental destruction that is part of the daily business of this industry, CEMEX has another, particularly bloody history with regard to the Middle East, which we would like to mention now that a devastating war is once again raging in Gaza. In 2005, Cemex swallowed up the Israeli company Readymix Industries, which supplied concrete for the Israeli wall and was involved in the construction of military checkpoints in the West Bank, including the Hawara and Azun-Atma checkpoints. CEMEX earns money from the construction of illegal settlements and outposts in the West Bank and operates cement plants in Mevo Horon, Atarot and Mishor Edomim, as well as in Katzerin on the Golan Heights. This makes the company a stooge and ally of Netanyahu's extreme right-wing policies and his religiously fanatical supporters in the settler colonies. These structures serve one goal above all: to make a dignified existence impossible for the Palestinians on this piece of land through harassment, oppression, violence and expulsion, which they pay for with their lives in the worst case. Nothing can justify the indescribable suffering caused by this policy.

Nevertheless, we will be wary of trying to understand this war in the Middle East according to a simple black and white scheme of good and evil. We are disgusted both by the heinous bombing terror of the Israeli army against the civilian population of Gaza and by the massacres of Hamas [NdE: i have edited this link in]. Even if this struggle and the number of victims are very unequal, it is fatal to want to offset the suffering of the one against the suffering of the other. Instead of holding up “the one opinion” or flag that is seemingly free of contradictions, we turn our attention to those who draw economic profit from this warlike policy and enrich themselves through militarism and racist oppression. This is another reason why we are attacking CEMEX. And we do this with the greatest possible empathy for the suffering and pain of the people who have to live under the ongoing war and increasing militarization in the region. Always alongside those who are fighting for the freedom of all, everywhere. Beyond state, nation and religion, and their deadly borders and armies.

  • On December 23, 2023, the Turkish state launched a brutal bombing campaign against civilian infrastructure in Rojava (northern Syria). With the area still struggling to recover from the attacks it suffered in early October, this new series of raids is preventing any stabilization of the region.

In October, a first Turkish attack targeted the vital infrastructure of Rojava (gas, electricity, water, sites for the production of essential goods, etc.), causing massive damage endangering the livelihoods of millions of people.

The new air raids just launched by the Turkish state are targeting the same vital infrastructures and also are targeting workplaces and production sites. The new air raids just launched by the Turkish state are targeting the same vital infrastructures and also are targeting workplaces and production sites. No matter what the consequences of these attacks (which are still ongoing) will be, it is already certain that the we are facing a catastrophe in Rojava with winter approaching and the electrical & fuel production severely damaged.

Why are these attacks happening now?

In the mountains of southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq), the guerrillas have launched a series of victorious actions against the Turkish occupation forces, which are far from succeeding in weakening the resistance to the Turkish occupation despite the use of weapons that are banned under all international conventions. Having suffered numerous casualties, the fascist Turkish state is now turning its rage to the people of Rojava. The civilian population and their livelihoods are being targeted in order to punish the people and weaken the bond between the people and their self-defense forces.

While the region is regularly struck by drones targeting representatives of self-administration structures, self-defense forces and the civilian population, this new offensive aims to dissociate the people from democratic confederalism structures by instilling fear in society. These attacks target a political project put forward by the peoples of the region. A stateless, democratic, ecological, multi-ethnic and multicultural society, driven by the vanguard of women. Turkey’s genocidal policy is aimed at displacing the people, essentially ethnic cleansing.

In the face of this situation, we call on all revolutionary forces, anti-fascists, democratic and freedom-loving people around the world to organize and put pressure on Turkey wherever it may be. Let us not forget that the Turkish state often wages its dirty war with political support and with Western weapons and technologies. From spreading information to protests in front of Turkish embassies to other forms of direct action and civil disobedience, there are countless means.

What we need now is a quick and impactful response to stop the attacks immediately!

  • Was anything else expected from Power? Although the 86-year prison sentence caused surprise and some consternation, Power was consistent. It has punished forceful actions directed against its defenders and representatives, the audacity of the open rebellion that hit their spaces they believed impregnable and also the unabashed and unambiguous vindication of such attacks, demonstrating that they perceive the danger implicit in the dissemination of ideas and actions.

The state acted because of what it is, and this should not surprise us.

It proceeded as it has historically done when it has been directly attacked, when it has really felt the threat of seeing its lives at risk and when, moreover, it has not found submission or repentance.

Along with seeking to bury me for life in this place, this sentence clearly constitutes an intimidating signal for all anarchist spaces and individualities that openly position themselves for combat insofar as it intends to put an end to offensive practices that refuse to disappear and that demonstrated their scope and potential in the October revolt. It is, in short, a blow to anarchism of action as a whole that reflects the threat it poses to Power, which, although it may sound paradoxical, shows that the insurrectional path fulfills part of its purposes. The fact that we are being persecuted, that years ago they created a specialized anti-anarchist team which they have now replicated to fight organized crime, and that we are given 86-year sentences, are indicators that the path of action worries and worries the powerful.

The insistence and, at times, intensification of anarchist action has led to a crushing sentence that undoubtedly has a claim to demobilization and a flavor of political revenge.

However, it is undeniable that lately there has not been an advance in the anarchic offensive, presenting, rather, a stagnation and even a decrease in the development and multiplication of transgressive practices. I think this is due to multiple aspects among which are the repressive variable as well as a post revolt effect that, apparently, has led to demobilization in several environments and individualities. I believe that a deeper analysis of this issue deserves a more detailed analysis, which is not the case here.

And if I am asked whether it was worth it. I answer not only that yes, it was worth it, but that it is and will absolutely be worth it. That making the individual decision to rebel, take revenge and put an end, if only for a moment, to the impunity of the powerful, is one of the most beautiful moments one can experience. That linking word and action, going beyond mere slogans emptied of content, strengthens and gives meaning to an individual and collective position of conflict. That bringing ideas to the terrain of the possible is always necessary and unavoidable if one freely decides to confront Power, even if it may cost decades of imprisonment and even life. Action is always worth it.

This concealed life sentence, a sentence among the highest internationally given to to an anarchist, clearly seeks to pacify, no doubt it is up to us to make sure that this warning reaches its goal or not. It is up to our will and decision to make these sentences completely lose their meaning and even constitute one more motive to attack, and indeed constitute one more reason to attack, just as the “Grupo de Acción 6 de Julio – Nueva Subversión” rightly exposed in the wake of the recent explosive attack on a bank branch.

Here inside, understanding, as I pointed out a few years ago, that anarchists in prison are active comrades who are temporarily locked up, in resistance and avoiding the narrow pigeonholing of the figure of “prisoner”, I intend to continue contributing to the different initiatives of the anarchist struggle. To insist on the permanent struggle for the annulment of the sentences of the military justice and with the campaign for the liberation of comrade Marcelo Villarroel, the freedom of anarchist and subversive prisoners and the destruction of the prison society.

Freedom for anarchist and subversive prisoners! May the jails burn! Long live Anarchy!

Francisco Solar Domínguez La Gonzalina Prison – Rancagua December 2023

  • On Friday December 15th, a merry band of miscreants entered Whole Foods and liberated a variety of foods to return necessary resources to our communities. The People harvested and prepared these items, and this food belongs to the People. We are merely giving back what is already ours.

We assert that corporations like Amazon and Whole Foods do a tremendous amount of harm: hoarding wealth and resources, stealing labor, and destroying the land we live on. When we purchase food from Whole Foods, only a small fraction of what we spend is going back to those doing the labor to produce the food — the vast majority of it is funneled into Jeff Bezos’s coffers, where it is in turn reinvested in weapon manufacturing, war, and big oil.

Furthermore, Amazon’s contract for Project Nimbus with the IOF means that Bezos profits directly from the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Boycott. Divest. Shoplift. Not another dime for genocide!

As of November 2023, Jeff Bezos has a net worth of nearly 170 billion USD, an almost inconceivable amount of wealth. To put it in context, it would take you over 215 lifetimes to manually count the numbers between one and 170 billion. Corporations like Whole Foods perpetuate the myth of scarcity which falsely asserts that food must be earned and hunger is an unavoidable consequence of modern society.

We see this for the lie it is, and we refute every part of it. Access to food is a human right, and we will feed our communities by any means necessary. We believe direct action is a vital form of resistance against the capitalist institutions built to crush, starve, and bleed us to death. Solidarity with shoplifters everywhere! We hope you will be inspired to take similar action wherever you are.

Move like water. Take back what has always been yours. Become ungovernable.

These items were liberated from this Whole Foods location because we believe everybody deserves to eat. The shelves in this store have been stocked with items that were harvested, prepared, and cooked via a long supply chain of exploitation and extraction from people and land.

This food was made by the People and it should fill the bellies of the People.

Don’t fall prey to the myth of scarcity! Look around you: there is enough for all of us. This food is being hoarded, and we are giving it back to our communities. The world belongs to us – everything is already ours.

We reject the capitalist logic that food is a privilege — it is one of our most basic human rights. We deserve to eat whether we can pay or not. Tear down the system that starves and kills people, one liberated apple at a time!

Try it at a Whole Foods near you!

  • Athens ,We claim responsibility for the following attacks on fascist targets:

    i) In the early hours of 11/17, we placed an incendiary device in the house of the former member of the Hellenic Solution [also known as ‘Greek Solution’], Anastasia Aikaterini Alexopoulou, in Zografou. The Hellenic Solution is a far-right party that sought to replace Golden Dawn in Parliament, and has been there since 2019. Velopoulos’s party went to the elections promoting the whole extreme agenda and mainly fences and machine guns on the borders. Now these costumed fascists have ended up a funny opposition that turns its back on the government to pay off its debts. (After the act we have been informed that this particular piece of trash has moved from the house that was recently targeted, such an operational error will not be repeated)

ii) In the early hours of 11/17, we also placed an incendiary device in the house of the fascist of the neighbourhood of Zografou, Vassilis Barletis. After using information, Barletis, a well-known fascist in the area, was added to the itinerary and we decided to leave him a gift from us in his view.

iii) In the early morning of 3/12 we planted an incendiary device at the house of Propatria member Giorgos Angelidis in new Faliro. Propatria is a fascist group that makes various impressive appearances in the centre of Athens, paints some slogans, takes pictures, leaves quickly-quickly and through social media he tries to convince that they are big and jerks. Since you always leave before we arrive, we decided to come to your homes this time.

“The King is dead. Long live the King.”

This phrase clearly describes what has been happening to the fascists-far-right-nationalists in Greece in recent years. At the same time as thousands of moderate “anti-fascists” were celebrating the jailing of the gold[en] down neo-nazis outside the appeals court, “the monster was in orgasm again” and was giving birth to the next phase of the extreme right in Greece. The “parties” for the victory over fascism and a few months ago three extreme right-fascist parties entered the Parliament and various fascist groups hang out undisturbed in the neighbourhoods and in the city centre. With one party even being led by one of the biggest members of the X.A. (Golden down neonazis [NdE: by the way, i'm assuming these are typos, but they're funny typos berating fascists, so i'm keeping them as such.]), Ilias Kasidiaris. Expected for some, “bring me a cloud to fall” for some others. Greek voters will continue to vote for far-right and fascist parties as the characteristics of fascism are deeply imprinted in the consciousness and morality of all its supporters and is not a peculiar privilege of those in power. The solution to this issue does not come with vague condemnations, with civil courts nor with the absence of such parties from the elections. The solution comes with the uprooting of all these formations from every point where they spring up and act. A full-frontal attack on all fascist enclaves, on the “official” far-right, to the fascists of Propatria, to your racist neighbour and to the homophobic employee of the respective store.

The selection of targets to attack as the first action of the “venture” is intended to demonstrate that no fascist scum will escape. The recent past has shown us that we should not and will not let them raise their heads even a little. Lately we have noticed a growing desire to get out of their holes. Of course due to lacking any momentum they are past in funny movements, quickly taking pictures posing as “hard fascists” and then they disappear in seconds without anyone noticing them. The only thing they achieve this way is to set themselves as the next targets. And stay hidden in your holes, we will burn you inside them.

The choice of MP makes the second goalpost clear. The Greek state and its mechanisms are the main exponents of fascism towards society, they are the real fascist threat. The Golden Dawn fascists were defeated in that is, their usefulness for the state ended, they gave their place to the costumed fascists of the [New Democracy party] and their minions. The sentence always remains the same: attack, attack, attack!

We do not consider ourselves an anti-fascist vanguard, nor our means the only means for this struggle. We call on everyone and all anti-fascists to rally, organize and participate with all means in the anti-fascist struggle. We call on all anti-fascist initiatives to escalate their struggle and use this particular signature for all their aggressive actions – smashing, arson, shootings, beatings, as well as to utilize and spread all the information they need and possess.

Fire signals to the Immediate Action Cores and support their attack on the house of Spartan MP Dimetrokallis.

The dynamic recovery of the evicted squatters by our comrades exemplifies a struggle for all of us.

    No December ever ended.

The next attack will not be symbolic!

P.S. Especially in the matter of information, we give a great foundation from our side. Knowledge about houses, shops, vehicles, but also names of more ”unseen” fascists and points that gather or work must be shared with all interested anti-fascists, putting aside personal feuds, political pettiness, elitism or even fears, thus creating an anti-fascist database which will be properly utilized for our purposes.
