Why Am I Rambling Into This Particular Void?

having been alienated from academia for some years, and anticipating that my particular health conditions will keep me out of the work force for time to come, I yearn for an outlet to mold and vent some of my more esoteric thinking on archivy (the management of archives)

i'm drawn to this platform for the simplicity of use, fediverse integration, and international audience potential

by setting fewer expectations on myself in terms of posting frequency or polish, i hope to build a more liberating writing practice
