A Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles is a self-study system of “spiritual psychology” that has touched the lives of more than one million people. It combines profound spiritual teachings with far-reaching and practical psychological insights.
New revelations have a tendency to become dogmatized by enthusiastic devotees. Smoley tries to protect against this by situating the Course within larger overlapping conversations in Christian mysticism and esoteric traditions (such as Eastern Orthodoxy).
Learn how ACIM can help you heal abandonment and victimhood and find joy & peace in your life. Study Groups
There is no specific instruction in the Course about how to form a study group. Some groups mix A Course in Miracles with teachings from other spiritual paths, while others spend little time actually studying the Course text. The ideal ACIM study group focuses on directly engaging the Course materials—Text, Workbook lessons, Manual for Teachers, and the two supplements. The group should also encourage its members to read and practice Course material outside of group meetings. It can be helpful to use the question and answer service of the Foundation for A Course in Miracles, which is available online.
In some cases, it may be necessary to ask a person to leave the group, if their behavior is not in accordance with the principles of the Course. This is analogous to a parent asking their three-year-old child to leave for being unruly. Meditation Classes

Its uncompromising approach has helped heal abandonment, addiction, victimhood and other seemingly lifelong issues. It has also brought more joy and peace into the lives of many who study it. a course in miracles
New revelations tend to be dogmatized by enthusiastic devotees, but Smoley wisely places the Course within larger overlapping conversations—ranging from traditional Christian mysticism (John Climacus, Gregory of Nyssa) to other streams of esoteric Christianity, including Boris Mouravieff and Emanuel Swedenborg, as well as non-Christian traditions like Jewish Kabbalah and Buddhist meditative practices. These voices are helpfully balancing and bring in fresh perspectives.
