I Am Waiting a Week Before Touching One UI 9
Reports from the last two days say Samsung has started pushing One UI 9, built on Android 17, with a long list of fixes aboard. Some Galaxy owners already on that build are posting about Android Auto refusing to connect in their cars.
That is the part that keeps me off the update button on day one. My phone sits in a holder on the dashboard every morning, and a car connection is not something I can repair by rebooting twice and hoping.
The fixes are probably worth having. Still, I will give it a week, read what people with my exact model report, then update on a weekend when a broken connection costs me nothing.
