The Fading Phoenix

Life is fleeting. It's one of the possibly few things that cannot be bought with money... nor any other barter imaginable. And, “I'll buy us some time...” doesn't mean anything since time cannot be purchased.

Time is free. However, fear, insecurities, and other seemingly criminal, or benign actors prevent people from saying and doing the right thing even when both parties have gotten council of their own, discussed the issue ad infinitum, and idealize their pryor inappropriateness in are corrected by learning from each other. “Wild births”, as they refer to as anyone birthing, anywhere outside their compound and is therefore innocent of the violence mankind must endure.

But the time is still gone. And can't be replaced. One can only try to learn from it and do better – BE better!

“Do unto others...” But time has come and gone and, in spite of evidence to the contrary, our collective complacency demands that we suffer the fruits of our gluttony in unforgettable fashion.

And all of the time in the world couldn't buy the time to take corrective actions to undo what's been done. But we are passed that benchmark. There's no coming back from here.

If there were such a thing as time travel, I doubt with every fiber of my being that any new time lines caused would self correct anomalies and return to its original trajectory point and the original time line, being the strongest branch would survive in the end.

This would make it very difficult to change the past for a different today.

I don't really believe in time travel... yet. But consideration of all the paradoxes that this would bring would be insurmountable.

But it's fun to think about. My time is approaching and often I don't feel like writing. But I can assure you this: If you are given an expiration date, don't spend that time regretting. Love, laugh, be happy as often as possible.

I bet that's some table talk politicos prefer not to addressed in their little battleground campaigning table talks, town halls, and face to face with Gold Star Families and victims of assault rifle attacks in our children's schools.

But, we'll all die. That is as immutable as time itself. No point and getting your panties all up in a wad. But one day we're going to pass as well. And it probably won't be pretty. It's that simple.

But what /about/ time?

I won't deny that while I find time travel intriguing as well as improbable. Personally, I feel there's time maintenance crews. Some are collecting all of the props from a certain unscheduled jump.

Other crews of great big black Pacman like creatures that eat everything left – to reuse in another future.

The point, though, is that any future nor any past is consumed by what I believe uses dark matter. The time usher fills fills the “orders” it will be too late.

This is the bedtime meandering thoughts where I often have misgivings and I'm not seeing anything to ameliorate these doubts and concerns.
