Our Socks Manufacturing Process, How a Sock is Made
Before starting the knitting process, we first wash the raw materials and spun them into yarn. Colored socks are either knitted with previously dyed yarn known as in-grain yarn or dyed after knitting. With the use of in-grain yarn, it is possible to knit socks with many attractive color blends and combinations. Our knitting machine has a cylinder containing about 84 to 200 knitting needles surrounding it. We feed the yarn into the knitting machine, and the yarn gets knitted around the cylinder. For the most appropriate fit and comfort, each part and size are made from individual kinds of knitting machine with a different needle's diameter. The socks are knitted with their toes open, and all parts of the socks come out as finished tubes.
Linking/Sewing
One of the advantages of this step is that finished socks have a minimum number of seams. The fewer seams a sock has, the less they rub and allow excellent comfortability. After knitting the socks, the toe seams are sealed. Hand linking, seamless linking and auto-linking are used in different types of socks.
Washing
We hold our client's hygiene and safety in the highest regard, and that is why we highly prioritize on thoroughly washing our products. We are well equipped with quality and up-to date washing machines, dryers and extractor machines to deal with situations of high demand. Washing helps in removing knitting oils and residue from yarns; it also helps in achieving the maximum levels of shrinkage.custom slouch socks
