AA Preferred Dealers

When you’re buying a used car, the dealership you choose is just as important as the vehicle itself. Dealerships with accreditations like FCA approved cars or AA dealers are typically regarded as reputable and reliable. This is because those dealerships abide by certain standards in the way they do business and treat customers.

Now, AA Motoring is launching its own network of dealerships that it recommends drivers use. The AA Preferred Dealer Network will feature dealers that meet the brand’s strict requirements for AA approval, with a minimum of 80% of vehicles available through the network being AA appraised. These dealerships will also display AA endorsements on their signage and digital channels, as well as promote themselves to AA members.

The new AA Preferred Dealer Network builds on the brand’s AA dealer promise, which aims to make used car dealerships the safest places to buy a used car. The 10-point charter includes a commitment from dealers to carry out pre-sale inspections and a mediation service, where customers can go if they’re unhappy with the way their purchase was handled. The AA is working with a number of dealerships on this project, with a view to rolling out the scheme nationally.

The AA Car Buying Service is powered by TrueCar, Inc. and is available to American Express Card Members who are purchasing a new or used car from participating Certified Dealers in the states listed below:AA preferred dealers
