These ingredients (or beliefs) create the basic socialization program of propaganda with which Americans are brainwashed. Including me! Until now. insofar as I can tell upon waking inside its entrails (as a cake, they ate me).

They comprise the core of our educational programs, including college, our entertainment media, all of the marketing. These are the beliefs that define sanity here. This is what they teach us literally and subconsciously, including at #church. Wealthy people here think everyone should (at least pretend to) believe these things. Ask somebody outside a major city about these, and they’ll agree with nary a condition or objection (bet), because they’re ignorant about the world. They’re the most patriotic in the places we grow corn.

America is the best country in the world. Americans have the best way of life of anyone in the world, even since the beginning of time. We have the best democracy since Athens, Italy and Rome.

If born here, you’re incredibly lucky, and blessed, and should feel grateful. In return, you owe your life to your country, mind, body, and (the soul belongs to Jesus).

Our wealthy, free, democratic country is the product of the world’s natural evolution toward capitalism. Man’s violence is natural, and it’s a (small, medium to large) part of what makes him fittest to survive.

Based on history, all other systems (socialism, communism, etc.) make everyone poor, or more poor, or worse off in every way (dead).

Americans all have an equal ‘shot at getting rich’ because all it takes is hard work. What’s more, there’s no ceiling on the wealth they can accrue, as it should be.

It’s not our fault and there’s nothing we can do about war “abroad,” or even on the sidewalk, our homeless neighbors, besides give charity.

The present has nothing to do with the past or the future, including or especially regarding slavery.

There can only be two political parties in the government, and they have to be the 2 that we have. Suggestions otherwise are pathetic and dangerous.

We can’t get rid of “evil” people and things, but can only choose the lesser evil.

Our vote matters, like giving a tithe at church.

If individuals make the advised, loyal choices, they will be rich and also entitled to “acquire” the small fish around them.

Muslims are terrorists. Also, Indians are terrorists if they look like Muslims due to wearing head/hat apparel.

Black people would kill us if they could, that’s why they’re locked up.

The civil rights movement of the 60’s and 70’s (19__, that is) fixed all our “racial problems.” No more racism exists.

White people freed the slaves, because it was the right thing to do (nothing to do with uprisings).

White people love(d) MLK and didn’t kill him. Just keep it peaceful, ay?

There’s one God, a father who made the entire universe without a woman.

Women (who disobey) are dangerous and pathetic (like a 3rd party in politics).

State violence and terror only happen to people who break the law.

Aristocrats and elites create wealth and jobs for people.

The male/female binary is natural and other options are dangerous and pathetic. Two choices exist, which come with expectations about appearance and performance.

The black/white binary is also natural, and black people are dangerous (and pathetic for ever making reference to slavery or history).

Capitalism shakes out fairly. It’s normal to owe thousands of dollars on things you “own,” such as houses, cars, all the things people generally need, medical care. These things- essentials- it’s just not possible to have them without owing money to banks. Try to get a good interest rate, that’s it.

If it’s not in front of me and/or if it doesn’t create profit, it doesn’t exist.

Reason and logic are the highest values and produce the most productive societies, of which ours is, as noted at #1, the finest.
